My reviews on some amazing books and classes!

I have been doing a lot of reading and researching and networking lately. Through all of this work, I have come across many different things that I want to share with my wonderful readers. My goal is to inspire you and help you in any way that I can. I also enjoy spreading the word on materials that I enjoy.

Without further ado, then, here is a bit of info on four different items that I think are worth your time:

1. 3 Weeks to Vitality: The Ultimate Cleanse, a book by Mary Vance, a Certified Nutrition Consultant

**This book is a 21-day whole foods-based detox program and it also includes information on holistic health and nutrition. Many people (including myself) desire a good cleansing diet in January in order to restore our worn-out and over-sugared bodies from the Holidays. The author Mary Vance is a certified nutrition consultant and uses her knowledge in this book to help her readers to lose weight as well as teaching us how to detox and cleanse our bodies, increase our energy, get better sleep, get clearer skin, and just overall feel healthier.

2. The 7 Day Diet Plan for Weight Loss and Improved Health, by Katherine Kyle

**This book is about a 7 day detox involving drinking filling green smoothies and other healthy cooked meals. This focuses mainly on having a plant-based diet, but the author makes suggestions for those who want to add meat to the program. The meals in this book are quick and easy to prepare and the ingredients are basic enough to find at most local grocery stores. This book’s 7 day diet plan will help you reach your ideal weight as well as improve your health and energy levels. Click here for more information about this amazing book.

3. Peace, Love, and Low Carb: The Cookbook: 3 Ingredients to a Healthier You, by Kyndra Holley

This cookbook comes in both a paperback and an e-book edition. I love that idea, since some people would prefer actual hard copies and others would rather read it on their computers. The recipes in this cookbook are low-carb, and each recipe gives nutritional estimates (calories, etc.), which is always helpful when preparing meals. This cookbook is very usable for the many eating variations out there today, including: gluten-free, paleo, primal, whole 30, dairy free, and sugar free. 4. Get at the Roots Program, an online weight loss program
**I am intrigued by this online weight loss program. The program stresses the importance of the addressing the underlying issues connected to the weight gain. It is a 12 week program where you will discover the problems that make you struggle with weight loss efforts including: adrenal fatigue, hormonal imbalances, digestive problems, food sensitivities, unstable blood sugar levels, and other problems. People who participate are emailed educational videos and audio lectures as well as other materials. It sounds like an amazing class, and I myself am seriously considering joining the next session, which starts on January 20, 2014. Click here to join this session before it’s too late!
